Job summary

Insight Housing in Berkeley seeks a Director of Supportive Services to lead and oversee all supportive services programs, including SSVF and Rapid Rehousing, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong partnerships with VA, city and county agencies.

You will work with the Chief Programs Officer on strategic planning, manage budgets, supervise 100+ staff, and advance mission through CARF accreditation, staff development, and community relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field required.
• Masters a plus.
• 7+ years direct experience providing services to Veterans or homeless individuals.
• 3-5 years staff supervision and multisite program management.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and programmatic leadership to programs and teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to maximize synergy among programs and admin teams.
• Ensure monthly spending aligns with budgets and goals.
• Supervise staff at multiple levels and sites.
• Lead complex service delivery across 8+ counties with 100+ indirect reports.
• Develop objective performance measurements for all sites.
• Implement staff training to address experience and skill gaps.
• Respond to emergencies and resolve issues with HR and leaders.
• Oversee data feedback mechanisms and LEAP engagement.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvements, and project outcomes.
• Support CARF accreditation and compliance with laws and funding requirements.
