Job summary

Cape Cod Community College seeks a Director of Student Wellness and Engagement to provide strategic leadership for student engagement, wellness promotion, belonging, leadership development, recreation and campus life across locations.

You will oversee student organizations, SGA, campus traditions, and wellness education, collaborating with campus partners to create a welcoming, health-promoting culture that supports student success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Higher Education Administration or related field is required.
• Five years of professional experience in student affairs or related.
• Three years of supervison of professional staff.
• Experience developing, implementing, and assessing student engagement or wellness initiatives.
• Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, assessment, and using data to improve programs.
• Knowledge of student development and evidence-based practices for belonging and well-being.
• Ability to work evenings/weekends and travel between locations.
• Unrestricted US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for student engagement, wellness promotion, belonging, leadership development, recreation and campus culture initiatives.
• Develop and assess a comprehensive strategy integrating engagement, wellness, leadership, recreation, and belonging across locations.
• Lead the development of a health-promoting campus culture through wellness education and prevention initiatives.
• Oversee student organizations, SGA, leadership development, campus traditions, and inclusive co-curricular programs.
• Oversee a year-round calendar of engagement, wellness, cultural, recreational, leadership and community-building initiatives.
• Collaborate with Student Counseling Services to coordinate wellness education, prevention, outreach, and referral pathways.
• Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and evaluation for staff responsible for engagement, wellness promotion, recreation and campus life.
• Leverage technology to expand engagement and evaluate technology solutions.
• Establish measurable outcomes using data and feedback to guide continuous improvement.
• Develop and oversee departmental budgets, grants, contracts, policies, and operational plans.
• Build partnerships across the College and community to advance an integrated approach.
• Represent the College on committees and community partnerships.
