Job summary

Salve Regina University seeks a Director of Health Promotion and Prevention to lead holistic wellness initiatives across campus. The role guides education, resources, and programming focused on resilience, mindfulness, and student development.

The position collaborates with Student Affairs leadership, counseling and health services, and campus partners to advance a culture of wellbeing and equity, including crisis response support and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Demonstrated understanding of program evaluation and assessment.
• Familiarity with technology and social media; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape strategy, programs, and initiatives using well-being as a framework.
• Develop, deliver, and evaluate wellness programs, trainings, and presentations.
• Collaborate with campus offices to support wellness initiatives and events.
• Design training for resident advisors aligned with Residence Life.
• Coordinate with Athletics, Safety, Student Engagement, and other offices to support student-athletes and programs.
• Lead grant activities including tracking deadlines, compliance, and reporting.
