Job summary

Alert Media, Inc. seeks a Director of Solutions Engineering to partner with the sales team and drive value for customers on our cloud platform.

This hands-on, player/coach role balances mentoring with direct support of strategic deals, demos, and technical leadership. You will lead a growing team, set regional technical strategy, enablement, and best practices while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to shape the platform roadmap.

Qualifications

8–10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture in a SaaS organization.
2–3+ years in a people leadership role.
Strong understanding of MEDDICC and partnering with Account Executives.
Coaching mentality to elevate others’ careers.
Ability to simplify complex concepts for executive-level audiences.
Experience supporting API-driven integrations and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Solutions Engineers with regular 1:1s and career development.
Partner with Sales leadership to forecast and govern pipelines for strategic deals.
Lead technical discovery, solution design, and demos for high-value accounts.
Define regional technical strategy, enablement, and PoC frameworks.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to surface field insights.
Act as technical advisor to CIOs/CTOs and executives; translate platform value to business outcomes.
Develop prototypes, spikes, or integrations to unblock deals and inform product direction.
