Job summary

Cribl, a B2B SaaS data observability company, seeks a Director of Product Management for Security Products to shape the next wave of Cribl Detect and beyond. You will evaluate promising areas, build a compelling business case, and decide on build/partner/buy, then lead funding and customer conversations through launch.

You will define the product, set metrics, and drive delivery with engineering from 0 to 1 and beyond, ensuring new capabilities work as a single platform with Detect.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or closely related role, with 5+ years in security products.
• Deep understanding of security operations: SIEM, detection, incident response.
• Hands-on product experience in at least one area: SOAR, ITDR/UEBA, AI security, or detection/response.
• Proven track record taking a product from discovery to paid use.
• Portfolio thinking with market evaluation and clear recommendations.
• Leadership experience mentoring PMs and guiding cross-functional teams.
• Technical depth to discuss data architectures and detection logic with engineers.
• Strong written communication and decision making in writing.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for the next wave of security products with market analysis and customer discovery.
• Build business cases: customer problem, market size, Cribl win factors, options.
• Lead execution: define product, write requirements, set success metrics, drive delivery.
• Ensure new capabilities integrate with Cribl Detect and workflows as a single platform.
• Spend time with CISOs, SOC managers, and analysts to validate direction with customers.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and technology partners on positioning and launches.
• Grow the team by hiring and mentoring product managers for funded areas.
• Represent Cribl security externally with customers, analysts, and industry events.
