Job summary

Cribl is hiring a Director of Product Management for Security Products. You will own the next wave of Cribl's security portfolio, evaluate new areas, and lead decisions on build, partner, or buy.

This role combines strategy, product definition, and cross‑functional leadership with security depth. You will work with CISOs, SOC teams, and engineers to shape roadmaps, write PRDs, and drive a platform‑level approach across Detect and related capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or closely related role with security focus.
• Deep understanding of security operations and related domains.
• Hands‑on product experience in security areas (SOAR, ITDR/UEBA, AI security, detection).
• A track record of bringing a product from 0 to 1 to market.
• Portfolio thinking with market and business case evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for next wave of security products: market analysis, discovery, and competitive review.
• Build business cases for each area including problem, market size, and options.
• Define product, write requirements, set success metrics, and guide engineering from 0 to 1+.
• Ensure new capabilities work within Cribl Detect with a shared data model.
• Spend time with customers (CISOs, SOC managers) to validate direction.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and partners on positioning and launches.
• Grow and mentor product managers as areas scale.
