Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Director of Product Management for Security Products to shape the next wave of its security portfolio. You will lead strategy, define the product and requirements, and drive delivery from 0 to 1 and beyond.

You will hire and mentor PMs, build compelling business cases, and ensure new capabilities integrate with Cribl Detect as a single platform. A security-focused leader with deep ops knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or a closely related role.
• 5+ years building security products.
• Deep understanding of security operations—SIEM, detection engineering, incident response.
• Hands-on product experience in security automation/response, identity security, AI or related areas.
• Portfolio-level thinking with market assessment and business cases.
• Proven leadership and mentoring of PMs; influence across functions.
• Technical depth to discuss data architectures, detection logic, and AI/LLM-based systems.
• Strong written communication; clear strategy docs and PRDs.
• Good judgment under uncertainty; decisive when needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for next wave of Cribl security products—market analysis, customer discovery, and competitive landscape.
• Build business cases, options (build/partner/buy), and a clear prioritization plan.
• Lead product definition, requirements, success metrics, and delivery from 0 to 1 and beyond.
• Ensure new capabilities work with Cribl Detect as a unified platform.
• Engage with CISOs, SOC managers, and engineers; validate directions with customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and partners on positioning, packaging, and launch.
• Grow the team by hiring and mentoring additional PMs for funded areas.
• Represent Cribl security externally at events and with customers/analysts.
