Optiv is seeking a Director, Security Engineering to lead the MSS and AFC security platforms, including MDR, SIEM, EDR and SOAR. This senior role focuses on strategy, practice management, and cross-functional leadership across engineering and client delivery.

You will mentor leaders, drive automation and cost effectiveness, manage budgets and staffing, and collaborate with executives to advance security outcomes for clients while maintaining high quality standards and SLOs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; Master's preferred.
• Advanced security and/or leadership certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) welcomed.
• 10+ years of information security and managed services experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership of security engineering or MSS delivery teams.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR and other platforms (Wiz, Cribl).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the security engineering practice across SIEM, EDR, SOAR and other platforms.
• Own the technical direction and quality of MDR, co-managed SIEM, data engineering, and Tier 1 offerings.
• Establish and drive process, documentation, and content improvements with metrics.
• Provide practice management, offer management, and sales enablement support.
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and vendor/tooling decisions.
• Stay abreast of risks, vendor roadmaps, and represent Optiv to clients.
