Job summary

OmniOn Power in Plano, TX is seeking a Director, SEC Reporting to lead SEC filings, establish disclosure controls, and drive IPO readiness for a public-ready finance function.

You will partner with auditors, legal counsel, underwriters, and cross-functional teams to own technical accounting matters, draft memoranda, and build a high-performing SEC reporting group.

Required: CPA and 12+ years in SEC/public accounting with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• CPA required; Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting and SEC reporting.
• Experience with IPO/public-company readiness and SOX.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and multi-workstream management.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of SEC filings (Form F-1, 10-K, 10-Q, etc.).
• Own disclosures, MD&A support, and filing tie-out processes.
• Establish scalable SEC reporting calendars and controls.
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP.
• Manage external auditors, counsel, underwriters.
• Develop and mentor SEC reporting team.
• Coordinate with Global Accounting and Finance functions.
• Support IPO readiness and disclosure controls under SOX.
• Prepare materials for Audit Committee and executives.
• Serve as primary contact for external parties.
