Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Director of School Operations to lead operational excellence across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools. You will coach and support school leaders, drive compliance, and ensure scalable, high-quality operations that enable enrollment growth and student success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years proven leadership experience as a Principal or equivalent level required.
• Advanced degree in Education or Management is required.
• Virtual school leadership experience preferred.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Strong communications skills and data-driven mindset.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and contract requirements, operational efficiency, and sustainability at scale.
• Strengthen school leader effectiveness, stability, and succession.
• Enable enrollment growth through operational readiness while focusing on student experience and success.
• Coordinate with SSP to translate strategy into scalable execution.
• Support academic improvement by holding leaders accountable for initiatives.
