Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Director of School Operations to lead operational excellence across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools. This senior role partners with school leaders to drive compliance, scale, and student success through hands-on coaching and strategic accountability.

You will manage multiple school leaders, align operational processes across campuses, support enrollment growth, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable, data-informed execution at scale.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years proven leadership experience as a Principal or equivalent
• Advanced degree in Education or Management
• Virtual school leadership experience
• Strong communications skills
• Data-driven and results-focused
• Ability to travel frequently

Responsibilities

• Portfolio-Level School Operations Leadership: Directly manage and coach multiple school leaders.
• Operational Sustainability & Enrollment Enablement: Ensure schools are prepared to support enrollment growth and stability.
• School Year Cycle & Operational Readiness at Scale: Coordinate school year activities and policy alignment across the portfolio.
• Leadership Management & Capacity Building: Develop leaders, conduct evaluations, and drive succession planning.
• Board, Authorizer & External Partner Support: Collaborate with boards and partners to support school performance.
