Job summary

Pearson seeks a Director of School Operations to lead enterprise-wide school operations across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools. You will coach leaders, ensure compliance, and drive scalable execution to deliver student success.

You will partner with the School Success Partner and cross-functional teams to align strategy, optimize enrollment readiness, and sustain high performance while managing risk and governance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years proven leadership experience at principal or equivalent level.
• Advanced degree in Education or Management.
• Experience leading virtual/school operations.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Data-driven decision making and problem solving.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to multiple schools.
• Comfortable with technology and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution across multiple schools and leadership teams.
• Coach school leaders to improve performance and stability.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, contracts, and standards.
• Enable enrollment growth through operational readiness.
• Collaborate with SSP and partners to align strategy and execution.
• Oversee calendar, policy reviews, and annual cycle milestones.
