Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Director of School Operations to lead operational excellence across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools. The role partners with school leaders and leadership teams to strengthen effectiveness, ensure compliance, and drive sustainability at scale.

You will work with cross-functional teams, support enrollment growth, and help implement the Pearson operating model while maintaining a focus on student experience and success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years proven leadership experience as a Principal or equivalent level.
• Strong communications skills are required.
• Data-driven and results-focused.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Virtual school leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution across multiple schools and leadership teams.
• Directly manage and coach multiple school leaders across a portfolio of schools.
• Establish consistent operational expectations across schools while allowing local nuances.
• Oversee enrollment growth through operational readiness and staffing alignment.
• Support board, authorizer, and partner relationships with clear governance and communication.
