Job summary

Pearson seeks a Director of School Operations (DSO) to lead enterprise-level school operations across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools. This senior role partners with school leaders to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and sustainable growth while aligning with Pearson values and standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years proven leadership experience as a Principal or equivalent level.
• Advanced degree in Education or Management is required.
• Virtual school leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio-Level School Operations Leadership: Directly manage and coach multiple school leaders.
• Operational Sustainability & Enrollment Enablement: Ensure operational readiness to support enrollment growth.
• School Year Cycle & Operational Readiness at Scale: Coordinate school year cycle activities across multiple schools.
• Leadership Management & Capacity Building: Lead and develop school leaders and succession planning.
• Board, Authorizer & External Partner Support: Engage with boards and key partners to support school leaders.
