Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Director of School Operations (DSO) to lead operational execution across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools, coaching principals and leadership teams. The role emphasizes compliance, scalable processes, and enrollment growth while aligning with Pearson values.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the SSP, and manage leadership development, succession planning, and performance reviews to ensure schools operate compliantly and sustainably at

Qualifications

3-5 years proven leadership experience as a Principal or equivalent level.
Advanced degree in Education or Management is required.
Strong communications skills and ability to travel frequently.
Experience with remote/virtual school operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead operational excellence across a portfolio of Connections Academy schools and coaching of school leaders.
Ensure compliance with regulations, contracts, and performance standards across campuses.
Drive enrollment growth through operational readiness and effective leadership development.
Partner with School Success Partner to translate strategy into scalable execution.
Support boards, authorizers, and external partners with governance-related activities.
