Job summary

Cec Companies is seeking a Safety Director to oversee corporate Safety & Health programs at our Irving, TX locations. You will drive the safety culture, develop site-specific safety plans, and lead ORM efforts across projects to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires extensive OSHA knowledge, strong leadership, and collaboration with project management, HR, and field teams. Travel to job sites is expected as needed to evaluate safety performance and training needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in safety leadership with a bachelor’s degree.
• MEP/construction/industrial and commercial S&H experience.
• OSHA 500 or CHST or Safety Trained Supervisor certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads development of safety vision, objectives, and policies to build a best‑in‑class safety culture.
• Assists GCs and project teams with mitigation plans and training programs.
• Develops and implements an Accident Prevention Program and ORM-based project safety plans.
• Travels to job sites to evaluate and upgrade safety programs; maintains safety records and OSHA logs.
• Partners with HR on claim management and Return to Work programs.
