Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our Irving, TX project team. You will assist foremen in completing ORM boards, develop Job Hazard Analyses, and photo-document the ORM process daily.

The role includes site safety orientations, incident investigations, and periodic tool audits to ensure compliance on a heavy construction site. The position requires OSHA 30, 1–3 years of construction safety experience, and the ability to travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety discipline is a plus.
• 1–3 years in construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety experience preferred).
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach crew foremen in completing ORM boards and Job Hazard Analyses; photo-document ORM board daily.
• Work day/night shifts, overtime, and weekends as project schedule requires.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily with findings, corrective actions, and photos.
• Interact with field personnel and site supervision to address safety observations and provide feedback.
• Assist with site safety orientations for new employees joining the project.
