Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown is seeking an experienced Director of Rooms to oversee Rooms Division operations, shape the guest experience, and drive financial performance. This leader will develop department managers, maintain property standards, and ensure a coordinated guest journey from arrival through departure.

You will lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Bell Services, and other Rooms functions, set service expectations, manage budgets and staffing, and partner with Revenue Management,

Qualificações

• Progressive Rooms Division leadership experience in a full-service hotel.
• Experience as a Director of Rooms or senior leader overseeing multiple rooms departments preferred.
• Knowledge of Front Office and Housekeeping operations.
• Experience managing budgets, labor costs, forecasts, and departmental performance.
• Proven ability to develop managers and improve guest satisfaction.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Bell Services, and other Rooms Division functions.
• Set service expectations and accountable for guest satisfaction, cleanliness, productivity, and financial results.
• Maintain a visible presence and support associates with operational needs.
• Monitor guest feedback and lead corrective actions to improve the guest experience.
• Partner with Revenue Management, Reservations, and Sales to coordinate room inventory and group arrivals.
• Oversee room readiness and inventory in partnership with Housekeeping and Engineering.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and operating expenses.
• Analyze occupancy forecasts and align staffing with service needs.
• Monitor payroll, overtime, supplies, and productivity while upholding quality standards.
• Recruit, coach, and develop department leaders; support succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, safety, and cash-handling controls.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on associate relations and training.
• Lead department meetings and ensure cross-shift communication.
• Support emergency response and serve as a senior operations leader.
