Job summary

The LINE Hotels in Austin seeks a dynamic Director of Rooms to lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, Bell & Door, and Guest Services, ensuring the LINE standard of hospitality. This role reports to the General Manager and drives service excellence, cost control, and profitability.

A Bachelor’s degree and at least four years in a supervisory role within rooms divisions are required; strong leadership, English proficiency, and a passion for guest experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• At least four (4) years of supervisory experience in Front Office/Housekeeping/Guest Services required.
• Advanced knowledge of the Rooms discipline and hospitality management.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rooms division across Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, Bell & Door, and Guest Services.
• Own the guest experience end-to-end, from arrival through departure.
• Drive divisional profitability with budgeting, labor, and P&Ls.
• Oversee safety, maintenance, and service standards.
• Build a high-performing team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Partner with departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
