First National Bank of Omaha seeks a Director of Risk Evaluation and Assurance to lead risk monitoring, testing and assurance across Partnership and Credit divisions. This role partners with leadership and lines of defense to build a proactive risk culture and deliver actionable insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in risk management, risk monitoring, risk based testing or internal audit.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles and industry standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee risk monitoring, testing and assurance activities for the Partnership division.
• Produce regular reports to senior leadership and the board highlighting risks and actions.
• Lead compliance testing, regulatory exams, and coordination of responses.
• Develop and lead risk-based testing and division audit programs.
• Manage a QA monitoring program and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with multiple lines of defense and business units.
