Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking a Sr Operational Risk Analyst to lead risk assessments, challenge First Line practices, and enhance the ORM framework. The role sits in the Second Line of Defense and partners with business groups to promote robust risk management across operations.

Responsibilities include independent risk assessments, issue validation, and governance reporting. The position is on-site with a competitive salary range and bonus potential as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational risk management experience in financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and credible challenge.
• Experience with RCSAs, control testing, and issue management.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute and support enhancements to ORM programs (RCSAs, Loss Event Management, Control Monitoring, Issue Management).
• Develop and apply ORM methodologies, procedures, tools, and reporting practices.
• Collaborate with First Line groups to assess ORM expectations and promote consistent risk practices.
• Apply Second Line challenge to First Line risk identification, control design, and remediation plans.
• Perform ongoing ORM duties, special projects, and program initiatives.
