Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Director in the Omaha area. The role emphasizes high-level GAAP/GAAS expertise, leadership of audit teams, and the ability to sign and supervise complex engagements.

The director will mentor staff, review work, and participate in client communications. Candidates should hold an active US CPA and have 8+ years of audit or related experience, with strong supervisory skills and a client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience.
• Active licensed US CPA or equivalent.
• Experience supervising managers, seniors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Review work prepared by associates, senior associates, and managers and provide review comments.
• Act as a Career Advisor to associates and managers as assigned.
• Provide verbal and written performance reviews to staff.
