Job summary

Security National Bank in Omaha seeks a Director of Enterprise Risk Management to lead the Bank’s ERM framework and governance, coordinating risk oversight across third-party risk management, business continuity, and enterprise risk management.

The role reports to the CRO, guides risk assessments, policies, and reporting to the ERM Committee and the Board, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and regulatory expectations. Travel required periodically to support trainings and oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field required.
• Professional Certifications preferred - CERP, CIA.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, compliance, or related banking risk disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and continuously enhance the Bank's ERM framework, including enterprise risk assessments and KRIs.
• Maintain governance over accepted risks with documentation, ownership, monitoring, and escalation.
• Facilitate ERM Committee activities and support Board reporting.
• Oversee governance for third‑party risk management (TPRM) and BCM governance.
• Lead baseline risk reporting to executive management, ERM Committee, and the Board.
