Job summary

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced IT Director of Quality Engineering to lead a centralized quality function across RBFCU's application portfolio. The role partners with Development, Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and business teams to embed quality throughout the lifecycle.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement after a training period, with a focus on testing strategy, automation, governance, and metrics to improve delivery and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related fields or four years of job-related experience in lieu of bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Technology Delivery
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing quality engineering, test automation, or software delivery teams
• Minimum of 3 years in a business area relevant to Financial Institution operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise Quality Engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Establish centralized Quality Engineering organization supporting all application teams
• Define quality governance, standards, policies, and quality gates across the SDLC
• Build high-performing Quality Engineering teams and leadership capabilities
• Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
• Drive automated testing adoption and CI/CD integration
• Lead quality planning for major platform upgrades, integrations, and enterprise initiative
• Define and monitor key quality metrics and develop executive dashboards
