Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks a Quality Assurance leader in Information Technology to guide QA and Performance Engineering teams toward automation-focused excellence. You will shape testing strategy, mentor engineers, and drive modernization of test practices across an enterprise budget and roadmap.

You will oversee automation frameworks, performance testing, and lab environments, partnering with business and IT leadership to deliver high-quality, reliable financial solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in IT with at least 1 year in leadership.
• Experience in a financial institution setting.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and QA automation tools.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, NeoLoad, LoadRunner).

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee QA teams and their adherence to the Software Testing Lifecycle and automation-first quality mindset.
• Oversee test automation frameworks and integration into deployment pipelines to reduce manual testing.
• Direct delivery of initiatives to mature QA tools, APIs testing, and performance testing capabilities.
• Create and manage a skill development program for test automation using low code and scripted methods.
