Job summary

Happen Bank is seeking a Director of Quality Engineering & AI to lead our QA organization and transform how we use AI to deliver secure, reliable customer experiences. You will define the quality strategy across web and mobile apps, originations, and decisioning platforms, modernizing test automation and release certification.

You will lead 10+ years in quality engineering, including 6+ years in leadership, with experience in regulated financial systems and AI testing tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in quality engineering or test automation.
• 6+ years leading QA teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience with AI testing tools.
• Knowledge of testing regulated financial systems.
• Strong communication to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy for Quality Engineering across Consumer Engineering, including AI-driven test automation.
• Lead QA engineers across web, mobile, originations and decisioning systems.
• Advise on AI-enabled testing and testing automation to accelerate delivery.
• Certify release readiness against risk-based testing standards.
• Develop quality gates to reduce escaped defects with AI tools.
• Partner with Product, Platform, Risk and business teams to drive changes.
• Influence CI/CD tooling and testing infrastructure.
• Use delivery data to focus organizational problem areas.
