Job summary

Capitol Broadcasting Company seeks a Director of Product to lead growth across WRAL Media’s digital platforms, including WRAL.com, WRAL News and Weather apps, and connected TV properties. This growth and strategy role sets the roadmap and UX standards across all platforms, partnering with Sales, Brand, News, and Technology to turn opportunities into revenue‑driven packages.

The role evolves toward housing Data & Insights and shaping future go‑to‑market leadership as the product organization

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
7+ years of digital product management, preferably in media or multi‑platform apps.
Proven track record growing digital audience, engagement, or revenue.
Strong proficiency with analytics, roadmaps, and cross‑functional leadership.

Responsibilities

Owns product growth across WRAL Media platforms and partners with Sales, Brand, News, and Technology.
Sets the product roadmap, prioritization, UX standards, and growth goals.
Translates opportunities into revenue‑driven packages for multiple platforms.
Owns personalization, engagement, app utility, distribution, and audience growth.
Establishes metrics, reports progress, and leads Data & Insights initiatives.
Defines future Go‑to‑Market leadership as the product organization evolves.
