Job summary

Capitol Broadcasting Company is seeking a Director of Product to own growth across WRAL Media’s digital platforms, including WRAL.com, the WRAL News app, WRAL Weather, and CTV/smart TV apps. This growth and strategy role sets the roadmap, prioritization, UX standards, and revenue-ready packages in collaboration with Sales, Brand, News, and Technology.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in digital product management, with experience across web, iOS/Android, and CTV platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven or more years of digital product management experience across web, mobile, and TV/CTV platforms.
• Experience owning a roadmap and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency with product analytics platforms (GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel) and collaboration tools (Jira, Productboard, Figma).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to align stakeholders across Sales, Brand, News, Technology, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Owns product growth across WRAL Media’s digital platforms and associated properties.
• Sets the product roadmap, prioritization, UX standards, and growth goals across platforms.
• Translates opportunities into revenue-ready packages with Sales, Brand, News, and Tech.
• Leads product strategy for personalization, engagement, app utility, distribution, and audience growth.
• Defines measurement and success criteria for initiatives and reports progress against goals.
