Job summary

Capitol Broadcasting Company, Highwoods Audio and Digital Division, seeks a high-impact sales leader to accelerate digital revenue across our audio and digital portfolios including WRAL.com and a full suite of audience-targeting solutions (display, video, CTV/OTT, email, and more).

This role sits directly under the Director of Sales and is responsible for accelerating audio and digital revenue, elevating sales strategy, and serving as the in-house expert on digital products, platforms, and

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of digital media sales experience (publisher, agency, or ad tech), 3 years directly leading a sales team.
• Proven track record of driving digital revenue growth.
• Skilled coach and mentor.
• Deep knowledge of digital advertising: display, video, programmatic, CTV/OTT, email, and targeting strategies.
• Strong presence in client-facing situations; confident communicator and closer.
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and ad operations.
• Familiarity with CRM and ad tech platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DSPs, Salesforce, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead digital revenue strategy across on-site and off-site channels.
• Partner with leadership to consistently exceed revenue goals.
• Identify new revenue opportunities, packaging strategies, and go-to-market opportunities.
• Drive adoption of digital solutions.
• Join key client meetings as a digital expert.
• Help develop proposals, RFP responses, and integrated campaign strategies.
• Coach account executives.
• Foster a high-performance, accountable, and competitive sales culture.
• Drive new business development and expand key client relationships.
• Help oversee forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management to ensure predictable revenue growth.
