Job summary

Affirm is hiring a Director of Product for the Affirm Card and Card Platform to own the end‑to‑end user experience and business outcomes across card issuance, authorization, servicing, and partner integrations. The role defines strategy, builds a high‑performing team, and delivers durable results for a strategic product area.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in product management
• Experience leading multi‑team product areas or platforms
• Org-building capability: managing managers and building PM teams
• Strategic and systems thinking; portfolio-level decisions
• Platform and fintech depth: payments/cards/fintech infrastructure
• Execution and influence: align senior stakeholders and data-driven decisions

Responsibilities

• Own the Card domain end-to-end, defining multi‑year vision and roadmaps across consumer experience, growth, and economics
• Lead US direct‑to‑consumer card products and in‑app virtual cards
• Oversee Card Platform including authorization, ledgering, servicing, and partner integrations
• Build and scale a high‑performing product organization with standards and cadence
• Drive GMV, engagement, unit economics and credit outcomes for the Card domain
• Lead platform strategy: APIs, controls, servicing systems and cost/value tradeoffs
• Align stakeholders across Engineering, Design, Credit, Legal, Partnerships and GTM
