Job summary

Levy Restaurants, in partnership with University of Oklahoma Athletics, seeks a dynamic Director of Operations for Performance Dining to oversee student-athlete dining programs, training table, and fueling stations.

This leadership role partners with sports dietitians and athletics administration to deliver high-quality nutrition, manage dining services staff, budgets, and vendor relationships, driving performance and health across OU teams in Norman, Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Food Service, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of leadership experience in collegiate athletics, performance nutrition, or large-scale banquet or catering operations.
• Strong knowledge of performance nutrition and athlete fueling strategies.
• Strong understanding of allergen safety protocols and cross-contamination prevention
• ServSafe certification.
• Food Handlers License (or willingness to achieve) in the State of Oklahoma

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all athletic dining operations and functions for student-athletes, including training table and fueling stations.
• Collaborate with sports dietitians and performance staff to ensure menus and fueling options align with performance nutrition goals.
• Oversee food quality, safety, compliance, and service standards across all operations.
• Recruit, train, and develop dining services staff to ensure a culture of excellence and service.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to provide cost-effective, high-quality training tables, fueling solutions and dining hall.
• Serve as the primary liaison between athletics, dining services, and campus partners.
