Job summary

Levy Restaurants in the United States seeks an Executive Performance Dining Chef to improve player health through nutritionally optimal meals and to oversee the culinary performance staff. You will develop menus and lead a multidisciplinary team focused on fresh, local, and balanced meals tailored to players and coaches.

Responsibilities include menu creation, budgeting, inventory control, HACCP compliance, and collaboration with performance nutrition teams to meet athletes’ metabolic needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nutrition needs and demands of an athlete.
• Experience leading culinary staff and managing a menu/budget in athletic nutrition settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, nutrition, food science, or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop recipes, source, build and implement menus for all player and coach meals with a focus on nutrient-dense foods.
• Lead culinary staff, including hiring, scheduling, reviewing hours, and performance reviews.
• Assist in establishing a culinary budget, including menu costing, inventory tracking, and invoice processing.
• Implement food handling procedures and FIFO practices to meet safety standards and inventory controls.
• Source quality, seasonal ingredients from nutrition-minded vendors.
• Coordinate meals for various teams and staff during off-season needs.
