Job summary

Liquidia is seeking a Director/Sr. Director, Patient Support Programs to design, implement, and manage our manufacturer-sponsored patient support and affordability programs.

You will oversee the HUB and affordability vendors, align program design with brand strategy and payer landscape, and address access barriers while ensuring HIPAA and other regulations compliance. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Market Access, Commercial, Finance, and Quality teams, and guide SOPs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years in patient services, market access, reimbursement, or distribution within a pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturer.
• 2+ years managing external patient support, HUB, or copay vendor relationships.
• Experience launching a patient services HUB or supporting a specialty product launch.
• Strong familiarity with copay assistance, PAP, bridge and free drug programs, and financial support models.
• Experience in access for a pharmacy benefit product; medical benefit or buy-and-bill experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic framework for development and continuous improvement of patient support and affordability programs.
• Design and maintain the patient support program suite across reimbursement support, case management, adherence and persistency programs, copay tools, and PAPs.
• Develop annual patient support strategies in collaboration with Market Access and Commercial leadership, aligned to brand strategy and product lifecycle.
• Monitor industry trends (copay accumulators, maximizers, Alternative Funding Programs) and incorporate into program design and gross-to-net planning.
• Lead negotiation and execution of patient support program vendor agreements with scope of work, business rules, SLAs, and pricing.
• Oversee vendor performance via KPIs and SLAs; conduct quarterly business reviews to drive improvements.
