Job summary

Encore Foulk is seeking an Admissions Director to lead patient intake and enrollment, ensuring compliant operations and a compassionate patient experience. You will supervise the admissions team, manage scheduling, registrations, and billing, while optimizing workflows and data integrity across EHR/EMR systems.

The ideal candidate has healthcare management experience, strong leadership, and a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and high-quality patient engagement to support seamless access to care.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Extensive knowledge of medical office management systems, including EHRs.
• Strong background in healthcare management: budgeting, billing, and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience in hospital or acute care environments is desirable; veterinary/managed care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the admissions team with training and performance evaluations.
• Oversee scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and billing processes while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Manage EHR/EMR systems to ensure accurate, secure patient data handling.
• Monitor budgeting and resource allocation to optimize costs.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow from admission to discharge.
