Job summary

Eastern Health Group is seeking an Admissions Director to lead the admissions process and deliver facility information through tours, visits, and assessments. You will work with the Marketing Director to achieve census and quality mix goals and ensure smooth transitions for new residents.

The role requires strong communication skills, healthcare experience, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to optimize occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Two years of healthcare experience; long-term care preferred.
• Equivalent experience for Director of Admissions may be acceptable.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; basic Internet skills.
• High professionalism with confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to communicate at all organization levels and work in a team.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and productivity.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet requirements and maintain the environment as described.
• Respond to inquiry calls from discharge planners, families and referrals.
• Conduct facility tours and manage admissions data.
• Maintain updated bed availability and services information.
• Oversee inquiry and admissions paperwork with signatures.
• Coordinate with staff for smooth admissions transitions.
• Support Marketing and Nursing leadership on census goals.
• Keep waiting lists per state and federal guidelines.
