Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Director of Organizational Development in the US to lead an Enterprise Transformation & OD COE. You will own OD products, drive adoption, and build scalable resources. The role blends strategic guidance with hands-on execution across major enterprise initiatives.

You will coach HR partners, align roadmaps with business objectives, and advance change management to sustain performance and agility across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive OD or HR transformation experience.
• Proven track record leading complex, matrixed organizational initiatives.
• Expertise in org design, workforce planning, change management, and talent intelligence.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and operate collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Own OD product suite from design to adoption and continuous improvement.
• Lead enterprise capability building and coach HR partners and leaders.
• Shape strategic direction, COE development, and service offerings.
• Balance consulting with hands-on execution across major initiatives.
• Partner with enterprise change teams to embed change methodologies.
