Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Director of Operations in Dallas, TX to lead daily restaurant operations for a growing concept. Initially responsible for one location, with the opportunity to advance to multi-unit leadership as the company expands.

This hands-on leader will develop people, implement systems, manage P&L and budgets, and build a culture of hospitality and execution to drive long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of restaurant operational leadership experience, including 5+ years in multi-unit leadership.
• QSR or chicken-concept experience required; both strongly preferred.
• Hands-on General Manager experience with strong leadership skills.
• Proven ability to develop restaurant teams and improve performance.
• Strong financial acumen including P&L, labor, food cost, inventory and budgeting.
• Experience implementing systems, processes and operational standards.
• Ability to lead in-restaurant while building for future growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Restaurant openings experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with focus on food quality, service, and consistency.
• Hire, train, coach and develop restaurant managers and team members.
• Oversee P&L performance, budgets, labor, food cost, inventory and operating expenses.
• Establish systems and procedures to improve performance and accountability.
• Foster a positive, results-driven culture centered on hospitality and execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Partner with senior leadership on operational strategy and growth initiatives.
• Develop future General Managers and support new restaurant openings.
• Transition into broader multi-unit oversight as the company expands.
