Job summary

Chick-fil-A Ruby & Sinto is seeking a Director of Operations to lead daily restaurant operations and deliver a remarkable guest experience. You will work closely with AM and PM General Managers to ensure consistency from open to close, develop Shift Leaders, coach Team Members, and uphold Chick-fil-A standards.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, strong communication, and a servant leadership approach to foster a thriving, productive team culture in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with a primary focus on serving our guests with excellence.
• Maintain a strong presence in operations and work alongside Team Leaders and Team Members.
• Partner closely with the AM/PM General Manager to create consistency and alignment from open to close.
• Ensure strong communication and effective handoffs between AM and PM operations.
• Develop Shift Leaders into confident, capable shift leaders.
• Coach Team Members and leaders through real-time feedback and encouragement.
• Ensure each shift is properly positioned, deployed, and prepared for expected business.
• Drive Operational Excellence across Front of House and Back of House.
• Monitor and improve speed of service, order accuracy, food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Respond quickly to operational challenges and remove barriers that impact the guest experience.
• Use restaurant performance, guest feedback, and operational observations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build and maintain systems that create consistency across shifts and dayparts.
• Support strong communication between Front of House and Back of House.
• Ensure opening and/or closing procedures are completed with excellence.
• Hold Team Leaders and Team Members accountable to Chick-fil-A standards and restaurant expectations.
• Create a calm, organized, and productive environment during high-volume periods.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity while maintaining a remarkable guest experience.
• Foster a positive team culture where people feel challenged, supported, and valued.
