Job description

ComForCare is currently seeking a Director of Nursing Services. This role is responsible for clinical oversight and ensuring compliance with regulations in NC/SC and accrediting agencies. The position includes care and personnel management, orientation, and evaluations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Functions as a clinical partner with the respective ComForCare business owner.
2. Provides clinical oversight and case management as required by regulations or business line.
3. Facilitates the orientation process, competency, and skills validation for caregivers.
4. Provides supervisory oversight for specific clients, caregivers, or field staff as directed by regulations.
5. Provides education to team members, patients, family members, caregivers, field staff, and referral sources.
6. Manages caregivers and field staff during assignments, assesses concerns, and provides coaching, counseling, or disciplinary actions when appropriate.
7. Performs comprehensive assessments of client status, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.
8. Develops individualized care plans based on data analysis and scientific findings.
9. Maintains client records with assessments, interventions, and evaluations.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Active RN license required.
2. Minimum one year of RN experience in NC/SC.
3. Ability to meet all relevant federal, state, local, and internal requirements.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
6. Proficiency with computers.
