ComForCare is seeking a Agency Supervisor/Director of Nursing Services. The DON oversees clinical compliance with NC/SC regulations and accrediting bodies. Responsibilities include care management, personnel management, caregiver orientation, and ongoing evaluation, ensuring clinical skills and competency across disciplines including nurses, aides, and therapists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with the business owner on clinical matters.
  2. Engage with clients through care planning and customer service.
  3. Provide clinical oversight and case management per regulations.
  4. Coordinate client care and manage transitions across services.
  5. Oversee caregiver orientation, competency, and skills validation.
  6. Ensure caregiver skills match client needs in all settings.
  7. Supervise specific client, caregiver, or staff populations as directed.
  8. Review documentation collaboratively with the office team.
  9. Educate team members, patients, families, caregivers, and referral sources.
  10. Manage caregivers and staff during assignments, addressing concerns and providing coaching or disciplinary actions as needed.
  11. Participate in clinical quality initiatives.
  12. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local contracts, and programs.
  13. Serve as the Administrator according to state regulations.
  14. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, psychosocial, and environmental status.
  15. Develop individualized care plans based on data and scientific findings.
  16. Implement interventions aimed at achieving client outcomes.
  17. Update care plans based on progress reports.
  18. Administer medications as necessary.
  19. Maintain detailed client records of assessments, plans, and evaluations.
  20. Make referrals to other health professionals as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Active RN license required.
  2. At least one year of RN experience in NC/SC.
  3. Compliance with all relevant federal, state, local, and internal certification requirements.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience.
  6. Experience in quality management is preferred.
  7. Proficiency with computers.
