Job description

ComForCare is currently seeking a Director of Nursing Services. This role is responsible for clinical oversight and ensuring compliance with regulations in NC/SC and accrediting agencies. Responsibilities include care and personnel management, orientation, and evaluations. Join our team and be part of a certified Great Place To Work!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Function as a clinical partner with the respective ComForCare business owner.
2. Provide clinical oversight and case management as required by regulations or business line.
3. Facilitate the orientation process, competency, and skills validation for caregivers.
4. Supervise specific client, caregiver, or field staff populations as directed by regulations.
5. Educate team members, patients, family members, caregivers, field staff, and referral sources.
6. Manage caregivers and field staff during assignments, assess concerns, and provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions when appropriate.
7. Perform comprehensive assessments of client status, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.
8. Develop individualized care plans based on data analysis and scientific findings.
9. Maintain client records with assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
2. Minimum one year of experience as an RN in NC/SC.
3. Ability to meet all federal, state, local requirements, including internal certifications and training.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
6. Proficiency with computers.
