ComForCare is seeking a Agency Supervisor/Director of Nursing Services. The DON oversees clinical compliance with NC/SC regulations and accrediting agencies, including care management and personnel management related to clinical delivery. The DON also manages caregiver orientation and ongoing evaluation, ensuring clinical skills and competency across disciplines such as nursing, aides, and therapists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with the business owner on clinical matters
• Engage with clients through care planning and customer service
• Provide clinical oversight and case management as per regulations
• Coordinate client care and manage transitions across settings
• Oversee caregiver orientation, competency, and skills validation
• Ensure caregiver skills match client needs regardless of setting
• Supervise specific client, caregiver, or staff populations as regulated
• Review documentation collaboratively with the office team
• Educate team members, patients, families, caregivers, and referral sources
• Manage caregivers and staff during assignments, addressing concerns, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Participate in clinical quality initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all relevant contracts and programs
• Act as Administrator in accordance with state regulations
• Perform comprehensive client assessments
• Develop individualized care plans based on data and scientific findings
• Implement interventions to achieve client outcomes
• Update care plans based on progress reports
• Administer medications as needed
• Maintain detailed client records
• Refer clients to other health team members as appropriate

Minimum Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• At least one year of RN experience in NC/SC
• Compliance with all relevant regulations and certifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience in quality management preferred
• Proficiency with computers
