Job description

ComForCare is currently seeking a Director of Nursing Services. This role involves clinical oversight and ensuring compliance with regulations in NC/SC and accreditation standards. Responsibilities include care and personnel management, orientation, and evaluations. Join our team and be part of a certified Great Place To Work!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a clinical partner with the respective ComForCare business owner.
• Provide clinical oversight and case management as required by regulations or business line.
• Facilitate the orientation process, competency, and skills validation for caregivers.
• Supervise specific client, caregiver, or field staff populations as directed by regulations.
• Educate team members, patients, families, caregivers, field staff, and referral sources.
• Manage caregivers and field staff during assignments, addressing concerns and providing coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of client status, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.
• Develop individualized care plans based on data analysis and current scientific findings.
• Maintain client records with assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Have at least one year of RN experience in NC/SC.
• Meet all federal, state, local, and internal certification and training requirements.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Be proficient with computers.
