ComForCare is seeking an Agency Supervisor/Director of Nursing Services. The DON oversees clinical compliance with NC/SC regulations and accrediting agencies, managing care and personnel related to clinical delivery. Responsibilities include caregiver orientation, ongoing evaluation, and ensuring clinical competency of nurses, aides, and therapists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with the business owner on clinical matters
• Engage with clients through care planning and customer service
• Provide clinical oversight and case management
• Coordinate client care and manage transitions
• Oversee caregiver orientation, competency, and skills validation
• Ensure caregiver skills match client needs
• Supervise specific client or staff populations as directed
• Review documentation collaboratively with the office team
• Educate team members, patients, families, caregivers, and referral sources
• Manage caregivers and staff on assignment, addressing concerns and providing coaching or disciplinary actions as needed
• Participate in clinical quality initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all relevant contracts and programs
• Act as the Administrator per state regulations
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments
• Develop individualized care plans based on data and current findings
• Provide interventions aimed at achieving client outcomes
• Report and update care plans based on client progress
• Administer medications as needed
• Maintain detailed client records
• Coordinate referrals to other health team members

Minimum Requirements:

• Active RN license
• At least one year of RN experience in NC/SC
• Compliance with all federal, state, local, and internal requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Two years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience in quality management preferred
• Proficiency with computers
