Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living seeks a Resident Care Director (RN) to lead clinical excellence across the community, overseeing health, wellness and care coordination to deliver resident-centered services. You will drive regulatory compliance, QAPI initiatives, and staff performance while managing budgets and staffing.

The role requires strong nursing leadership, an active California RN license, and experience with ISP processes and CLIA/infection control leadership.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• Experience leading aging/long-term care teams.
• Knowledge of care coordination and ISP processes.
• Familiarity with CLIA and infection control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs.
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians and clinical partners.
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs.
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable.
• Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations.
• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget.
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness.
