Job summary

Elegance Senior Living is seeking a maintenance leader to develop a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all equipment and conduct quarterly walk-throughs to spot issues. You will coordinate compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental rules while interviewing and managing maintenance and housekeeping staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to conduct regular inspections and identify areas of concern.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience interviewing and managing maintenance staff.
• Ability to coordinate landscaping, snow removal, and waste management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment.
• Conduct quarterly walk-throughs to identify areas of concern.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, SDS, OSHA, EPA regulations, and fire codes.
• Interview, screen, hire, coach, and evaluate maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Review apartments after move-out to prepare for new residents.
• Oversee exterior property maintenance including landscaping, snow removal, and waste removal.
• Maintain inventory control for supplies and equipment.
• Foster teamwork and take initiative to support coworkers, residents, and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
