Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking an experienced Director of Maintenance to lead all maintenance, repair, and upkeep across our senior living communities. You’ll oversee maintenance and housekeeping staff, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and ensure compliance with safety, building, and regulatory standards.

This role provides safe, well‑maintained living spaces for residents. You will develop a preventative maintenance program for HVAC, alarms, generators, and more, conduct quarterly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum three years of maintenance experience with proven management.
• Valid State Driver’s License for vehicle travel.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all community systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to address maintenance needs.
• Prioritize and complete work orders within budget and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA, EPA, SDS, and fire regulations.
• Hire, coach, train, and evaluate maintenance staff.
