UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA HOST PROPERTIES INC is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead all housekeeping and public space operations at Boar's Head resort in Charlottesville. The role focuses on delivering cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence through hands-on leadership and strong organizational skills.

The ideal candidate will manage labor, budgeting, inventory, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with BH policies and Forbes/AAA standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of housekeeping managerial/supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Forbes Travel Guide or 4 Diamond luxury properties is a plus.
• Strong training and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage budgets, wages, and operating expenses.
• Familiarity with Property Management Systems (Agylisis V1) desirable.

Mansioni

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate all Housekeeping and Public Space operations.
• Ensure adherence to BH policies and quality standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
• Train staff on BH, Forbes Travel Guide, and Four Diamond standards.
• Monitor departmental wages, payroll, and operating expenses within budget.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, distribution, and cost control.
