Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Director of Logistic Operations in New York to lead regional sites and optimize performance across the network. The role requires building strong client relationships, driving value-based solutions, and steering long-range plans for efficiency and profit. Significant travel is required.

The position emphasizes Lean Six Sigma methodologies, cross-functional leadership, and collaboration with General Managers to ensure operational excellence and safety across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 8-10 years of supply chain or logistics experience.
• 3-5 years of logistic site leadership with budgetary experience required.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or training preferred.
• Strong leadership, management, and team development skills.
• Robust understanding of supply chain strategies and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Execute and help form the network vision and translate it to sites and staff.
• Maximize revenue and margins by developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Facilitate monthly/quarterly business reviews to show performance and value.
• Oversee day-to-day site performance against KPIs and introduce new measurements.
• Meet monthly with General Managers to ensure alignment of operations.
• Lead safety initiatives across the network to reduce risk.
• Develop customer profiles and review issues, opportunities, and contracts.
• Build business cases and present proposals aligned with customer objectives.
• Provide leadership and training, coordinate with Learning & Development.
• Implement new programs and processes across the organization.
