Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Director of Logistic Operations to guide regional sites through Lean Six Sigma principles, optimize client relationships, and drive long-range plans for efficiency and profitability. The role requires frequent travel and close collaboration with site General Managers to align operations with corporate goals.

The candidate will build compelling business cases, support value-driven solutions, and lead cross-functional teams while upholding Kenco’s safety and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8–10 years of supply chain management, business management or logistics experience.
• 3–5 years of logistic site leadership with budgetary experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or training preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the proven ability to maximize team performance.
• Robust understanding of supply chain strategies.
• Strong customer relationship skills; ability to balance and manage customers’ expectations.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Execute and aid in forming the vision for the network and translate the company vision downstream to sites and employees.
• Identify new business opportunities and maximize revenue and margins with existing customers by developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews that showcase performance, value-add, challenges, etc.
• Oversee and continuously evaluate the day-to-day site performance against established KPI's.
• Meet regularly with General Managers to ensure continuous line of sight of daily operations.
• Drive safety initiatives throughout the network to reduce operational risks.
• Build business cases and present proposals and value solutions for customers.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to all employees in the operation.
